Maximize Your Impact with These Special Giving Options
If you are interested in additional ways to maximize your giving, here are a few options that can also provide tax benefits:
Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD): If you are over 70½, you can make a QCD directly from your IRA to BAAM. This allows you to avoid income tax on the distribution, while also counting it toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for the year. Speak to your financial advisor for more details.
Donate Stocks: Donating appreciated stocks provides you with a charitable contribution deduction and allows you to avoid capital gains tax. It’s an easy and tax-efficient way to support BAAM.
Donor-Advised Funds (DAF): If you have a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), you can recommend a grant to BAAM before December 31. Donations through DAFs are often tax-deductible, and we are happy to assist you in making this donation.
If you are interested in learning more about these options, please reach out to us at amy[at]baamorch.de.
